Post and packaging is calculated on weight. You may checkwhat the delivery charge will be at any point in your order by clicking on yourshopping cart at the top or the right hand side menu in the online store.

The minimum post and packaging is £2.50 The maximum post and packaging is £8.60 for 15 kilo andover.

Small packages such as individual ginger rhizomes may besent by Royal Mail

Larger orders over 2 Kg will usually be dispatched bycourier on a Wednesday overnight delivery for Thursday

Thank you if you have ordered plants through The Pot and Grass Company.

Buyingplants particularly bamboo can be expensive. At the P&G we appreciate yourorder, and understand it represents a substantial investment on your part. Weat the P&G are committed to protecting that investment by ensuring that youget your order at the optimum time and best condition for planting.

Grasses, Sedges Gingers are usually dispatched within 7 days from purchase or as they become ready, Orders are usually shipped on Wednesday of each week to ensure delivery as early as possible. We do not ship orders after the 17 th December until the first week in January in order to avoid seasonal delays.

Plants that are not ready for shipment due to adverseconditions, seasonal sensitivity etc, will be dispatched as they become readyand available. We will contact you if this is the case.

The plants will be delivered properly packaged by parcelservice, first class mail, or courier from ourselves at The Pot and GrassCompany. The price quoted is inclusive of V.A.T. at standard rate but doesnot include insurance or shipping. Postage will be applied to your order at thetime of purchase. If your order exceeds 50 Kilograms please contact us for adelivery quote there may be better options.

 Delivery will in most cases need to be signed for. Yourdelivery note should be attached to the outside of the package. If there is anydamage, shortage, or deviation you must sign for the goods asdamaged/shortage and inform the carrier and The Pot and Grass Company. Onreceiving the plants open the packaging immediately check the order and placethe plant in a light sheltered area. Make sure the root does not dry out.Retain the packaging material.

If you will not be able to take deliveries personally pleaseindicate on your order any alternative location or to which person they can bedelivered. Any instructions to leave packages at a premises unattended orunsigned for will be taken at the purchasers own risk.

Plants may be pruned or shortened in order to facilitate packingand shipping. Any pruning and shortening is carried out to enable us to protectthe plant from damage more efficiently during the transportation process and toreduce unnecessary shipping costs. Any pruning or shortening will not affectthe plant's well being and in most cases will prove beneficial tore-establishing the plant in its new home.

Please note that our plants are shipped true to type. Howeveryoung plants may look different from the displayed photograph. Many plantsparticularly bamboos do not show off their true livery and colours until theyhave matured in the second season.

Whilst every care and attention is taken to dispatch your orderso that it arrives in perfect condition, we cannot be held responsible for anyconditions which are outside of our control, labour disputes, adverse weatherconditions etc. Also see terms.

Exports outside the United Kingdom: The Pot and Grass Company will export to some countriesoutside of the United Kingdom or EEC. Please contact us for shipping rates outside the UK.  If you have a requirement you wouldlike to discuss please contact us with details.

Shipping is charged at a flat rate of £5.50 per order on Bamboos and Grasses up to 20 kilograms. Gingers are charged PP by the weight and this is added before you checkout.

Deliveries to Eire and other EU destinations will vary. please enquire.
